Blackpool sands in Devon is a golden beach set in an unspoilt, sheltered bay, lapped by clear blue water from the English Channel and surrounded by magnificent evergreens and pines.  It is the venue for the Tunes on the Sands festival; where you can enjoy live music in idyllic surroundings at a festival hosted directly on the beach. Besides the festival, Blackpool Sands is an ideal family beach to relax, swim or sail. This is truly one of the south west’s hidden gems.

Information

As a Blue Flag beach, dogs are not permitted on the beach or in the car parks during the bathing season; 1st April – 31st October 2022.

The beach is Signposted from Dartmouth on the A379 between Stoke Fleming and Strete.
